Disciplinary Rules for Takshila College Of Education
1.Academic Discipline : Attendance: Minimum 75% attendance is
mandatory
in all lectures, practicals, and fieldwork. Punctuality: Students must attend classes on time. Late arrivals may not be
allowed entry.
Examinations: Students must adhere to all examination rules. Cheating,
plagiarism, or any form of malpractice is strictly prohibited.
Assignments & Projects: Must be submitted on or before the due date. Late
submissions without valid reasons may result in penalties.
2. Behavioral Conduct: Respect & Decorum :Students must maintain decorum on campus, respect faculty,
staff, and peers.
Dress Code :Students should follow the prescribed dress code, especially
during
teaching practice or formal events.
Ragging :Strictly prohibited under the Anti-Ragging Act. Any involvement will
lead to immediate suspension or expulsion.
Use of Mobile Phones :Not allowed during class hours, practical sessions, or
examinations unless permitted.
3. Campus Rules :Cleanliness :Students are responsible for
maintaining cleanliness in classrooms, labs, and campus premises.
Library Discipline: :Maintain silence and follow borrowing/return
policies.
Smoking/Alcohol/Drugs: The use of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs on campus is strictly
banned.
4. Professional Ethics : Teaching Practice Conduct :Students must
maintain professional behavior during school internships and teaching practices.
Respect for Diversity :No form of discrimination based on caste,
religion, gender, or socio-economic background will be tolerated.
5. Disciplinary Actions : Warning & Counseling : For minor violations.
Suspension : For repeated or serious misconduct.
Expulsion: For severe violations such as ragging, harassment, or academic fraud.
6. Grievance Redressal : Students can report grievances to the Disciplinary Committee or the appointed Grievance Redressal Cell.
